Practical Qualitative Data Analysis

Corey M. Abramson

 

Corey M. Abramson is the Daily Operations manager at the Center for Urban Ethnography at UC Berkeley and a fellow at the Institute for the Study of Social Change. For the past 9 years he has provided instruction, consulting, seminars, and coaching in the use of qualitative data analysis software packages (ATLAS.ti and Folio views), as well as the methodological and logistical issues surrounding the collection and management of large qualitative data sets. Corey has taught students, researchers, and professionals from a wide array of academic and business disciplines. Previous clients have included researchers from UCSF, John Hopkins University, UC Berkeley, Living Streets UK, the US Department of Education, and numerous private enterprises. He is currently completing his PhD (ABD) in Sociology at UC Berkeley, where he studies the relationship between systems of social stratification and health.
